Clan MacFarlane

We found a cemetery in Arrochar that was like none I have ever seen. On one side were extremely old graves dating back hundreds of years. On the other side there were graves as recent as May, 2011. This cemetery has been in constant use for a few hundred years, and there was still room for more! Back in the extremely old side, I found a cluster of members from the Clan MacFarlane. I was probably viewing the graves of my very very ancient ancestors.

    Very cool to see this, as my husband and I are contemplating a London, Scotland & Ireland (Dublin) trip Sept/Oct 2022 for our anniversary!

    Thank you for sharing! We are going in 2024. Three of our many times great grandfathers were MacFarlane clan chieftains. Adding this kirkyard to my list of places to explore!
